Bruce's Clearwing
Images coming soon.
This is a small species, in size approximating H. thetis, from which it may be at once distinguished by the green color of the scales upon the thorax and the basal segments of the abdomen, and the fact that the anal tuft is wholly black, not divided by yellow scales in the middle as is the case in H. thetis.
The species is not uncommon in Colorado and Utah.
