This charr is known only from Lake Victoria, Floeberg Beach, in lat. 82 degree 34', and is the most northern Salmonoid known.

It has the body rather slender, head small, snout obtuse, mouth moderate, the maxillary in the male reaching to posterior edge of orbit; teeth small; a band of hyoid teeth; caudal moderately forked; head 4 1/2 depth 5; D. 11; A. 10; Br. 11; pyloric coeca 31 to 44.

Colour, dull greenish, silvery or reddish below; lower fins yellowish; probably no red spots.
