Butterfly.--Easily distinguished by the short tails of the secondaries, and the narrow bands of yellow spots on the wings closely resembling those found in the same location on the wings of P. asterias, male. Expanse, 2.50-2.75 inches.
Early Stages.--These still await description.
Indra occurs on the mountains of Colorado, Nevada, and California.
