2026 Editor's Note: The caterpillars of this moth feed on Chromolaena odorata, a plant widely known as Siam weed, which is considered one of the world's most problematic invasive species. Because of this diet, the moth has been studied and introduced as a biological control agent to help manage the weed's spread in parts of Africa and Asia. (Ed: DS 2026-08-11)
