Hypenula Cacuminalis
The moth is a native of the southern portions of our territory. The figure we give is taken from Walker's type, which is preserved in the British Museum. We also give a figure of a specimen preserved in the American Museum of Natural History, and which was determined by Mr. Grote as his species, to which he gave the name opacalis. The comparison of the two figures will serve to illustrate the variability of the species.
